Jeff Cooper C.A.R.E. Foundation, fighting cardiomyopathy

The untimely passing of Jeff Cooper was the result of a heart condition called cardiomyopathy. The Jeff Cooper C.A.R.E. Foundation aims to increase awareness and diagnosis of the symptoms of cardiomyopathy and heart disease in general.

As a result, the brief summary of information contained on this site is designed to provide you with a basic understanding of cardiomyopathy, the risk factors for developing a cardiomyopathy and the symptoms associated with this group of cardiac conditions.

Additional information about specific forms of cardiomyopathy can be found on the links provided throughout this site. It is important to remember that no two individuals with cardiomyopathy are identical. The information provided should not be considered medical advice. You are encouraged to consult your own primary care physician or cardiologist to discuss and ask questions about your own personal or family risk factors for cardiomyopathy.
