Jeffrey Cooper
April 1, 1976—July 22, 2003

Jeff, a native of Solebury Township, Pennsylvania, attended New Hope-Solebury School District from Kindergarten through his graduation in 1994. He attended Villanova University, where he joined Sigma Pi fraternity and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business. Upon graduation in 1998, he accepted a position at Bell Atlantic. Later, he was employed by Ecount until his most recent move to Fiberlink of Bluebell, PA. Jeff's qualities were a part of him that everyone recognized and admired. A sharp wit and a warm smile were his trademarks. He possessed the confidence to be his own man. Although reluctant to judge others, he stood by his convictions. He was a loyal friend and confidant. He listened, evaluated, and innately knew when to advise and when to just "be there" to lend a supporting shoulder.
Although Jeff took his responsibilities seriously, he didn't take himself so seriously that he couldn't laugh at himself and enjoy life. People, not things, were his priority. Family and friends came first. He had a keen sense of fairness and respect for everyone. Jeff gave to the community through his participation in the Special Olympics. He also had a long-standing, blood donor relationship with the Red Cross. This began when his younger brother needed a transfusion, and Jeff was the first to volunteer as a donor.
Jeff embraced life and its possibilities. He was an avid sports enthusiast, both as an observer and as a participant. His love of baseball spanned his lifetime. With his camera in hand, he was always ready for a road-trip, concert, sporting event or a weekend at the shore. He loved dancing and parties, quiet conversations, or just being alone with a good book. Jeff looked forward to someday enjoying the American dream of a wife, children, and a home of his own. Jeff will always be remembered for his sense of fun, his love of life, and most of all, his kind and caring nature.
